Pre-Departure Informal Q+A Session

***JETAA volunteers are needed to help with London pre-departure meet-up for outgoing JETs!***

The new JETs have recently been given their placements in Japan and will be attending their pre-departure orientation on Friday 7th July.

We would like to invite JET Alumni to join us at a pre-departure meet-up following their orientation and Embassy reception, where we will gather in an informal and relaxed atmosphere to give outgoing JETs the chance to ask about life in Japan in general and get those extra insights and re-assurance that ex-JETs can provide; reminisce about your time on JET as well as pass on your knowledge of Japan to those about to embark on the adventure. 

This is always a fantastic event where JETAA members from the past 30 years come across prefectures from all over Japan and offer invaluable advice to assist in their preparations: from what to pack to survive the humidity and the most crowd-pleasing karaoke songs at enkais!

We will be gathering in the upstairs room at the Marquis Cornwallis near Russell Square Station from 7pm.

This is not a formal Q&A session, so please feel free to grab a drink and grab a chat with the nearest fresh-faced JET and pass on your wonderful Japan wisdom!
