If you or someone you know is embarking on the JET programme soon why not come along to an event with your local chapter? 

Each chapter is ready to welcome new JETs with advice on what to do once they're are in Japan and stories of their own experience.

JETAA Scotland have A Nijikai after the orientation day in Edinburgh on the 11th of July from 6 pm. They have also planned a BBQ for departing JETs/leavers in Meadows, Edinburgh on the 15th of July. They will cater for vegetarians as well. 

JETAA North East are meeting on Saturday, 1st July at 1-2pm at Tsujiri, Newcastle Chinatown 66 St. Andrew's Street, Newcastle NE1 5SF https://www.tsujiri.co.uk/.

JETAA London are going to have an informal gathering in the upstairs room at the Marquis Cornwallis near Russell Square Station from 7pm after JET orientation on Friday the 7th of July.

JETAA Midlands pre-departure meet-up for outgoing JETs is scheduled for the 1st of July at Tilt Birmingham from 2pm.

JETAA North West are welcoming new JETs about to embark on the progream with a meet-up at Duttons in Manchester (2-10 Albert Square, M2 6LW) at 7pm on the 13th of July. RSVP here https://www.jetaa-northwest.co.uk/
