JETAA North East is a fairly new chapter of the JETAA Family. Recently revived in September of 2020, the chapter covers all areas of the North East of the UK and has close ties with the Scotland Chapter. Newcastle is the focus area for most in person events, but we have plans to branch out further afield in the future. As the new kids on the block, we are always looking for people to get involved with events, ideas and networking.
Regular Events
Monthly online zoom meetings, the last Thursday of the month. These online events were born from the pandemic, but we hope to continue them in the future. They are an informal way to meet and socialise with members and we hold small craft based activities based on Japanese Traditional arts.
Webzine
We are proud to announce the launch of our new webzine, it will feature everything from cool places to visit after lockdown to showcasing the many talents of our members, from photography to short stories to recipes.
